Privacy Policy

How REFRAME collects, uses, and protects information from people who visit this site or reach out to us.

Last updated August 23, 2026

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to reframe-five-kappa.vercel.app and covers visitors who browse the site, and anyone who submits the contact form or reaches us by email. REFRAME is a Canadian digital agency, and this policy is written to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what your browser sends automatically.

When you submit the consultation form, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your company name, if you provide one
  • The type of consultation you’re interested in
  • Whatever details you write in the message field

If you email or call us directly, we collect whatever information is contained in that email or call.

Separately, when you simply browse the site, your browser automatically sends technical information (like approximate load times and which pages were viewed) to our performance-monitoring tool, described under Analytics below. We do not use this to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and discuss the work you’re asking about
  • Follow up about scheduling a consultation
  • Keep a record of the conversation for our own reference

We do not sell your information, rent it to third parties, or use it for advertising. We do not add you to a marketing list from a form submission alone — if we ever want to send you marketing communications, we’ll ask first.

How your message reaches us

The contact form doesn’t store submissions in a database. Instead, it sends your details directly to our inbox as an email, using Resend, a transactional email provider. Resend processes the message only to deliver it and does not use it for any purpose of its own. Once the email reaches us, it’s handled the same way as any other message in our inbox.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser’s local storage — a small amount of data kept on your device, not a cookie in the traditional sense — to remember the choice you make in the cookie banner, so we don’t ask again on every visit. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

Analytics

We use Vercel Speed Insights to understand how quickly the site loads and where it might be slow. This tool is designed to be privacy-preserving: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect information that identifies you personally. It measures aggregate performance metrics only.

Third-party services

This site relies on a small number of infrastructure providers to operate:

  • Vercel — hosts the website and collects standard server logs (like IP address and request timing) for security and reliability. Vercel may process this data on servers outside Canada.
  • Resend — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox by email, as described above.

We don’t use these providers’ data for anything beyond running the site and receiving your messages, and we don’t share your information with anyone else unless required by law.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as it’s useful to our working relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Performance analytics data is aggregate and not tied to individual visitors, so there’s nothing to delete on a per-person basis.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that’s inaccurate or out of date
  • Withdraw consent for us to hold your information, subject to legal limits
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you feel we haven’t handled your information properly

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we collect or use information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top of it. We don’t expect that to happen often — this is a small site with a short list of tools behind it.
